You will learn to use various techniques as tools of your talent and it will enable you to transmit the message to the public.

Production is sharpening the message for maximum impact. As a result, the audience becomes emotionally engaged.

“Ole!” ‘s motto is “Everyone has got talent”. You just haven’t discovered it yet.

This workshop will show you how to start, how to get your act together.

Paul Morocco and his team will explain how to overcome fear, to develop self-confidence and stand in front of strangers and critics. You will learn to focus on having fun and the audience will fly away with you.

The goal:
To inspire participants and give them ideas and skills enabling the to create their own musical comedy performance.
To help participants to grow in understanding, experience and confidence.

The Skill Set:
You’ll have a chance to learn various skills demonstrated by “Ole!” during their performance.

Acting skills. Work with a puppet.

Wokrshop by Elina Ageeva
During this workshop, kids and their parents will learn how to create a theater puppet at home, invent and stage a short story.

During the classes, participants will refresh in their mind the main technical principles of operating a theatre puppet, will work on the movement and body language of marionettes, and will become more confident is using their own body.

Elina Ageeva is an actress, laureate of the Golden Mask National Theater Award in the “Best Puppet Theater Actress” category. In 1992, after graduating from LGITMiK (department of puppet theater, acting department, course led by I.A. Zaikin), along with director Alexander Maksimychev and artist Tatyana Melnikova, she became one of the founders of the puppet theater “Doll House”, where she still works today. Performances with the participation of E. A. Ageeva received the Golden Mask National Theater Award 3 times.

The unknown present. Contemporary german drama in context

New drama is still a relevant issue in German theatre which can be seen in long traditions since classicist and modernist playwriting. Another aspect is to be found in its practice on the stage with specific relations to audiences and their respective contexts. The lecture will discuss dramatists who emerged in the decade from 2010.

Thomas Irmer has taught as a scholar of theatre studies at various universities in Germany and the U.S. From 1998 to 2003 he was the editor-in-chief of the journal Theater der Zeit, where he is now a regular contributor and editor of books such as Castorf (2016), Heiner Müller Anecdotes (2018) and most recently Luk Perceval.

Acting workshop

The workshop will be led by Alexei Guskov, national artist of Russian Federation.

On September 3, we invite professional actors and students who are studying acting, to the master class of Alexei Guskov to be held as part of MAP Theatre Festival.

Alexey Gennadievich Guskov – theater and film actor, producer and laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of literature and art, 2001. People’s Artist of the Russian Federation. He taught acting at the Moscow Art Theater School for four years.

Alexey Guskov has over 70 film credits.
